Quechua is a very special language for the
Andean Life, to learn it you will need at
least two weeks of basic vocabulary and
a month to speak some basic conversation .

The reward of learning Quechua is to see
the amazement on the faces of local
Peruvians when a gringo speaks in Quechua.

Alternative Courses

We have, for those travellers, looking for extra special activities, the following alternative courses :

a.- Weaving Courses : Traditional backstrap looms from the Pre hispanic times, Pedal loom, with aditional courses on spinning and natural dyes techniques .

b.- Dancing Courses : Many fockloric dances, with experienced dancers with aditional visits to the villages where these dances are performed.

c.- Cooking Courses : Delicious and healthy peruvian dishes, including the fun of shopping at the the colorful local market with exotic indian flavours.

d.- Music Courses : Traditional Andean Music with typical instruments like The Andean Flute, Panflute, or Charango ( small guitar ) and Guitar with a simple numerical system .

Prices :

All these Alternative Courses cost : $ 8 .= USA dollars per hour, plus the extras cost of the Looms or Musical Instruments.

A minimum of 15 hours are required
Person to Person Instruction .
Family lodging available .
The courses start every monday .

1.- A non-refundable deposit is required ( booking fee ) of $ 100.= per person, this deposit is required to confirm your reservation .

2°.- Total payment is due 4 weeks prior to start the program .

3.- A full payment of the programme in advance will get you 50 % discount in your Booking Fee .

This service includes :

Airport pick up by a bilingual driver .
Transfer to the bus station .
Bus ticket to Huancayo .
Bus pick up in Huancayo to your lodging home .

Price : $ 60 .oo

* A $ 30.oo extra fee will added per night for accomadations if you want or need to stay in Lima . Lodging could be in a good centric Lima hotel or in a nice family home !!!
