Our Valley has a great reputation for festivals - there is a fiesta almost every day of the year! Of course, the best time to come, weatherwise, is from March to October (dry season) . We have festivals of Pre - Incan & Incan origins as well as religious celebrations including a wide variety of folkloric dances , costumes and local food at every party !

We encourage our students to enjoy the parties as they are good for improving their Spanish skills.

We also have activities such as barbecues, biking , camping, and trips to the mountains & jungle.

The Valley is a beautiful peaceful place good for biking & trekking. You can go on your own or on organized trips .We also have many local crafts people in the villages around the Mantaro valley .

During the rainy season, October to March, showers come mostly in the evenings. In the dry season, a blue sky and strong sun is a blessing everyday.
